On Tuesday, July 13, 2010, the Clarkdale Town Council voted unanimously to accept a $225,250 grant from the Walton Family Foundation in order to establish an initial management team for the Clarkdale Sustainability Park (CSP). The first position to be recruited is the CSP Project Manager position. This position offers a unique opportunity for the proper candidate to play a pivotal role in a transformative economic development strategy for the Town that focuses on renewable energy, water sustainability and education and will serve as a model for community sustainability. Clarkdale is seeking a Project Manager who, under direction of the Town Manager, will be primarily responsible for the development of the Clarkdale Sustainability Park. This is a full-time, grant-funded position and longevity beyond the 18-month grant period is dependent on successfully obtaining additional grant or other funding. The combined, negotiable, salary & benefit package is valued at $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on qualifications.
